Project Details

Client: National Vote At Home Institute

Issue Area: Democracy Strengthening

Role: Program Innovation & Community Building — strategy, design, content, platform development,

Challenge

Build a sub-branded, coherent program where election officials could communicate with NVAHI and each other — privately, securely, and in a format they would actually adopt. Election officials are risk-averse by professional necessity.

Solution

A multi-month marketing program to build community before and after launch — using the content formats (weekly emails, webinars) the audience already trusted. A private platform with a Resource Library, Topical Chats, and Event Hosting infrastructure. A structured 6-month course on voter communication best practices.

Outcomes

  • 10% market share among election officials pre-enrolled before launch

  • 25% email open rate on weekly communications

  • 100–200 attendees at weekly events

  • Live private platform

Adoption starts before launch

Getting risk-averse professionals onto a new platform doesn't start with the platform — it starts with deep listening. We built the platform they wanted.
